About jones
Jones is an Silicon Graphics Indy workstation with an IP22 MIPS processor and a lot of funny gags, especially the blue looking of the hardware (see Image Gallery > LANs, in the Rittal at the top of the shelfs) and the sound playing at booting.
This real nice maschine runs a IRIX 6.2 at the moment and it's something really nice for unix gurus who like some fun in it.
Because jones is a sgi workstation, it has many nice hardware feature like many video, camera and sound in-/outputs. Many multimedia editing software is included in the operation system IRIX.
